    "Know all men by these presents that we JOSEPH MINOR and Thomas Stith are held and firmly bound unto our Sovereign Lord George the second by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith, etc. in the sum of Fifty pounds current money to be paid to our said Lord the King his Heirs and Successors to the which payment well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves our Heirs, Executors, and Administrators jointly and severally firmly by these presents Sealed with our Seals Dated this Eleventh day of October 1750.

    "Whereas there is a marriage suddenly intended to be solemnized Between the above bound Joseph Minor and Edith Cox, Spinster, Daughter of John Cox.

    "The Condition of this present Obligation is such that if there be no lawfull cause to obstruct the same then this obligaion to be void else to remain in full force."
