Joseph Miller was married to Hazel Wurzel and had two children by that union, Ellen Noreen Miller and Edward Miller. Hazel's family came from the Reading, PA area. Grandpa raise prized Roosters and Homing Pidgeons. They attended St. Joseph's Catholic church where their children attended grade school and Ellen then attended high school. Uncle "Bud" attended St. Joseph's for a while but wanted to play Saxaphone in a band so he got grandpa to let him go to Ross High School. The children were 13 and 9 respectively when Hazel died. Joseph was a Fireman in Fremont, Oh and also a photographer in his home at 424 Vine St., Fremont, Oh.
