This Mary Porter first married John Mackey. He died in 1773 in Augusta. Mary then married Joseph Little on 19 April 1785 in Rockbridge County, Virginia Mary Porter [Mackey, Little] and John Mackey had the following children:

Henry Mackey who married Eliz.Vance Davidson, widow of John Davidson.

William Mackey who married Eliz. Kennedy and poss. Ann Paul

Jean Mackey who married William McCorkle, ancestor of Henry McCorkle
