    "Joseph (Hills) … m. Abigail Curtis, … dau. of James and Abigail (_____) Curtis. On 10 Apr. 1708, Joseph Hills of Hartford (his wife Abigail signing with him by mark) conveyed, for £32, to John Benjamin of Wethersfield, 18 acres on the east side of the Great River. On 12 Oct. 1737, Joseph Hills and Abigail his wife of Farmington conveyed to Abraham Warren of Wethersfield, all right in the Common from 'James Curtis our Honourd father formerly of Wethersfield deceased.'"
