- ↑ The dates with this marriage record fit with the birth of their first son (approx 10 months from date of marriage). There is an association in the family with marriages being conducted in East London when the family are based in Barking. Also, there is a Flitter family based in Barking Essex at the same time (Thomas and Ell Flitter with a daughter called Amy Flitter. However, she was Baptised in 12th Sep 1728 meaning that this individual (if baptised soon after birth) would not be the Amelia Flitter marrying Joseph Harris in the stated marriage record - at 52 years of age it would be unlikely she would still be able to conceive/give birth). Assumption at this stage is that was a grand-daughter of that Flitter family who appears in that marriage record). The search goes on to test the stated assumption.
