  2.   There is a confusing record in the Lexington Records, p. 174, giving the death of "Job, s. of Joseph & Submitt" on 17 Jul 1715, age 13m. No such son is mentioned in Source:Estabrook, William Booth. Genealogy of the Estabrook Family. The first son of Joseph and Submit, Joseph, was born June 1714 and died 17 July 1714. Since this record says 17 Jul 1715, it seems most likely this is a duplicate, where Job is a misreading of "Jos.", and the age at death was recalculated based on the apparently miscopied death date. There is an obvious determination to name a child Joseph across both wives of Joseph. So, while it is possible that Joseph and Submit could have had another child between the two Josephs, it does not seem to fit that they would have switched to Job instead of using Joseph again.
