History of the Early Settlement of Newton, County of Middlesex, Massachusetts, from 1639 to 1800, p. 242, gives Hannah's name as Hannah Rutter, apparently a misinterpretation of the record. The probate of James Trowbridge [Middlesex 22801] shows an accounting allowed in 1728 was submitted by "Hannah Bowman formerly the widow of James Trowbridge Jun'r" and Jackson says p. 280 that John Fuller m. "Hannah, wid. of John Trowbridge, Jr."
