5 Nov 1760: Joseph Barrett Ju'r aged Sixteen years last June and William Barret aged fourteen years last May both of Brookfield in said county minors and sons of Joseph Barrett of said Brookfield Blacksmith appeared and acknowledged that they each made choyce of their Father Joseph Barrett beforenamed to be their Guardian to Transact all matters Concerning them respecting what they shall rec[e]ive out of the Estate of their Grandfather William Martin Late of Chelmsford Weaver Deceased.
