y tres, yo el cura Pbro. Bartolome Suastegui, practicadas las diligencias de estilo, corridos las
tres moniciones conciliares y no habiendo resultado impedimento alguno, casi in "faciae
eclesiae" [ecclesiastical Latin] a Jose Garcia soltero n. y v. [natural y vecino] de Oquitoa, h. l.
[hijo legitimo] de Jose Ma. [Maria] Garcia y de Josefa Lorona; con Carmen Mendez soltera n.
y v. [natural y vecina] de Oquitoa, h. l. [hija legitima] de Jesus Mendez y Esperanza Urias;
habendo sido testigos W. [Wenceslav (see previous record)] Ortiz y Dionicio Molina; y para
que conste lo firme.

In the parish church of Altar on the third day of the month of May of eighteen hundred eighty
and three, I the priest Fr. Bartholome Suastegui, duties prescribed by law having been
lawfully completed, the three banns prescribed by the Council [of Trent] and with no
impediment resulting, married before the eyes of the church Jose Garcia, single, a native and
resident of Oquitoa, legitimate son of Jose Maria Garcia and of Josefa Lorona; with Carmen
Mendez, single, a native and resident of Oquitoa, legitimate daughter of Jesus Mendez and
Esperanza Urias; having been witnessed by Wenceslav Ortiz and Dionicio Molina; in
certification of which I sign.
