Jonathan Whipple m. (1) by abt. 1688 Margery Angell. Citing Source:Smith, Dean Crawford. Ancestry of Emily Jane Angell, 1844-1910, p. 127, notes there were two elder daughters before Jonathan who was b. 22 Feb 1691/92 which is presumably why the marriage is pushed back to 1688. Smith himself, p. 127, says they married "circa 1680".
