Note: the marriage date recorded in Brookfield is *identical* to the birthdate of daughter Elizabeth in Brimfield. Clearly there is an error of some kind here. The same marriage and birth dates are found in Source:Boutelle, John Alonzo. Burke and Alvord Memorial, which being published in 1864, predates the published VRs and suggests the original records do actually give these dates. The answer is not known, whether the marriage might have been 1753 or 1768 (worrisome possibilities given that the identification of the father's wives is probable at best), or whether the birth was some later date but misrecorded, or whether two different Jonathan Burks have been conflated??]
