- ↑ There are four births registered in Worcester to Jonas and Elizabeth per the published VRs (twns Catherine and Elizabeth, Betty, and Dolly). In spacing, the appear to fit right as a middle block of births for this family: between early births in Worcester, and later births in Shrewsbury. Upon moving to Shrewsbury, the births resume recording the mother's name as Abigail until the marriage to Sarah. There is no known marriage to an Elizabeth, nor subsequent remarriage to a second Abigail. So following Source:Ward, Andrew Henshaw. Ward Family apparently (he is silent on this, listing all these children in this family, with no notice of a wife named Elizabeth), it is assumed this was some sort of clerical error, and that Abigail is meant as the mother for these four children, even though the record says Elizabeth. Like Ward, we keep Sarah Draper as his second wife, not a fourth wife, as would be required to follow the records as they are published.
