- Johney was previously attached to Lydia Vreeman as her spouse. However, after William Tammel's death in 1893, according to census records in 1895, 1900, 1905 and 1910, she was living with her daughter Ella, still listed with the Tammel name as is also indicated on the death certificate. With this evidence, I see nothing to indicate she was married to Johney except which was transcribed in the cemetery records for Fillmore County, MN which I now doubt it's veracity in regards to her.
