  2.   The Wesson family does not appear in the records much, apparently living in the Worcester Gore [unincorporated area]. Source:Crane, Ellery B. Historic Homes and Institutions and Genealogical and Personal Memoirs of Worcester County, Massachusetts, p. 1:228, says John Jr. m. Mehitable Eliot with no other wife indicated. But the probate of Mary Davis's father Amos clearly indicates she was married to John Jr. in 1765. The marriage to Mehitable Eliot happened in 1785, perhaps a second marriage?
