- ↑ There is no birth record for son John, who is called the eldest son in his father's probate but we don't know if he is also the eldest child. He is named first in the baptism record, but that may reflect gender rather than age. His two sisters (twins) were born 1681. Those were the only three children in the 1687 baptism, so if it not known if John was born first, or after his sisters.
