    "John {Tibballs) deeded land to his 'sons-in-law' (i.e., stepsons) Jabez and Ebenezer Harger on 3 Jan. 1711/2 (Derby, Conn., Deeds, 3:73 [FHL film #4058]). These are the sons of Jabez and Margaret (Tomlinson) Harger. See the will of Jabez Harger of Derby, 15 June 1678, no probate act, inventory 12 Jan 1678/9 (New Haven District Probate, 1:2:72-73 [FHL film #5294]).
