Town of Warwick, Franklin County, Massachusetts, Genealogical Records 1739-1900, Births, Marriages,, p. 254, gives the date of marriage as 1 Jan 1815, based on the correction noted above, it was indexed that way (here). it is in conflict with the intentions cited, which are nicely arranged in recorded order, and so appear unlikely to be misrecorded. Thus, it is assumed the marriage actually occurred in 1816, which is not inconsistent with the birth of the first child in Dec of 1816. On the same page where the marriage is recorded, higher up on the page, is a separate return by Jonathan Blake that appears to be his marriages from 1815, further suggesting this is his return for 1816.
