- ↑ Source:Parker, Theodore. Genealogy and Biographical Notes of John Parker of Lexington and His Descendants, p. 39, adds a son John, "b. and d. 1696". No record of the birth or death is found in Reading VRs, and given the birth of Mary so late in 1695 (4 Dec), a birth in 1696 seems unlikely, certainly not happening before about Sept. 1696 at the earliest. The birth of Edee 19 Aug 1697 also impacts this, as it would require a birth by November at the latest, leaving a very small window just to satisfy biological minimums. Given the typical spacing represented by Mary to Edee with no John in between, his existence seems improbable.
