"John (Mix) … m 10 Dec 1781 (Wallingford Vital Records) Elizabeth [da. Daniel & Sarah (Atwater)] Hall, b [21 June 1764 (Wallingford Vital Records)], d 7 Feb 1845 æ. 81 (gravestone, Center Street Cemetery, Wallingford)."

  3. On page 3:705, Mr. Jacobus assigned Elizabeth Hall, daughter of Titus and Elizabeth (McKay) Hall as the wife of John Mix without qualification. On page 5:1202, he assigned Elizabeth Hall, daughter of Daniel and Sarah (Atwater) Hall as the wife of John Mix indicating that it was probable, but not proven. On page 3:711, he gives the birth of Elizabeth Hall, daughter of Daniel and Sarah (Atwater) Hall but does not assign her a husband.

It seems likely that Jacobus leaned toward the older Elizabeth, daughter of Daniel, because Lyman, the name of her eighth known child, was a family name coming from Thankful Lyman (b. 1672), geat-grandmother of Daniel Hall.
