Note: Source:Fisher, Philip A. Fisher Genealogy : Record of the Descendants of Joshua, Anthony, and Cornelius Fisher, of Dedham, Mass., 1630-1640, p. 65, gives the date of marriage as 6 Dec 1753, but that is impossible as John's first wife was still alive. Wrentham VRs show the marriage on 6 Dec 1753 of John Metcalf and Abigail Fisher, but they stay in Wrentham and have several children over the next decade plus (1755-1767). So that was a different couple.
