John Lawrence m. 16 Oct 1684 Sarah Smith, d/o Sarah Smith. Removed to Brookfield "after the birth of his children" [Presumably this indicates that the births of all children are found in Hadley records. John was killed in Brookfield, if not before, then just around the birth of the last child, and in Source:Temple, Josiah Howard. History of North Brookfield, Massachusetts, p. 146, a letter dated 29 Jul 1693 is quoted that refers to "John Lawrence from Brookfield". So it seems likely that some of the later children were probably born in Brookfield.]
