John Knox was a horse shodder in Capt. Delevan's Company in the Rev. war, Pension file w.15920. Although he did not apply for a pension, his widow Mary did so after his death. In order to prove their marriage, she sent the family bible to Washington where they have been filmed, and can be copied from the above file.
