Children
Braintree records show the marriage of Lt. John Hunt and Rebecca Allen on 14 Dec 1727 and their first recorded child is born 24 Feb 1728/29, and their last recorded child is born 5 Jan 1743. This is a different John Hunt.
The John Hunt who had a wife Hannah has children born in Braintree in 1716/17, 1718, 1719, 1722, 1723/24, 1724/25, 1727, 1728, 1729. In the last birth, 1729, he is called Ensign John Hunt. Since the dates overlap, these records make it clear these are two distinct John Hunts, and not two wives of the same person.
