It is likely that most or all of the children were born in what is now Meriden. The Meriden baptismal records, however, for the most part do not survive.

Jacobus also includes a son, "Jonathan," with no birth record cited. Based on the sketch of Jeduthan Hall in The Halls of New England, p. 114, which says that he married Martha Francis, and the Jacobus entry for Martha, daughter of Jacob and Martha (Mix) Francis Families of Ancient New Haven, p. 3:623, which says that Martha married "Jonathan Hall", it would appear that Jeduthan and Jonathan refer to the same individual.
