↑ The numbering of children call Abial the 12th child, but records for only 10 are found. Additionally only 10 are given in the coverage of the family found in Source:Bowen, Clarence Winthrop. History of Woodstock, Connecticut, Vol. 6, p. 388. There seems to be a jump when the family moved to Waitsfield, so Sally is #8 in 1787 in the Hartland record of her birth, but #10 in the Waitsfield record of her birth. Oliver is only recorded in Waitsfield where his birth 3 years later in 1790 is listed as 11?
