Family:John Dudley and Unknown (1)

It is possible that John's wife's name was Joan (based on the fact that both he and his son Miles named daughters Joan). If so, this family is not to be confused with Sir John and Joan Dudley 'who appear in the Surrey Feet of Fines 1509-1558, specifically in 1529, 1532, and 1533. This Sir John Dudley became the Duke of Northumberland ... [and] is well documented and no known ties between the baronial Dudley family and Dudley family [of Dorking] have been found.'^[1]
