    (John Dillingham married) by 1634 (and possibly during his visit to England in 1631-2 Sarah Caly. … Savage, and some others writing on John Dillingham in later years, have stated that John Dillingham had a son Edward, who had died by the time of Sarah (Caly) Dillingham's will in 1636. There is no record evidence for this, and it probably derives from a misreading of the complicated estate proceedings of John and Sarah Dillingham, which frequently mention John's elder brother Edward Dillingham.
