Moses, a known son of Robert Davis, and John Davis of both of Craven County, SC. jointly sold to Robert Davis of Mecklenburg Co., NC 330 acres of land on both sides of the Waxhaw Creek on the 19th of Apr 1773. The deed specifically states " Inheritance in fee simple by his Majesty's Patent dated 12 Sept 1752."

2.   John's will mentions that the wife is pregnant at the time of the writing of the will. John wanted the family to remain together and that the land not be sold until son Joseph is age 21.
