↑ Torrey writes "New London VR 11 has Baker-wrong" without explaining what is wrong, which leaves the nature of the proof unknown. Other secondary sources don't seem to indicate any problem, just give the wife's name as Beebe without comment. It turns out Barbour mistranscribed the record. The page 1:17 that he cites is from a town copy here and clearly says "Beebee".
