According to the Annals of the Catholic Historical Society, from "A List of the Oldest Catholics of Philadelphia", Bucher-Beker: "Married May 23, 1763 by Father Farmer, John Bucher to Anna Catherine Beker, witnesses Francis Senner, Joseph Christian Bub. The nuptial bless imparted at a mass celebrated. The foregoing were both Germans and parents of Elizabeth Taws."
