, p. 16, says, "John had no children by his second wife, who survived him." His article in
NEHGR
, Vol. 48, p. 289, says, "The three children are by the first wife". He then shows three children, all attributed to wife Hannah: Hannah b. 1661, John, b. 1689, David b. about 1691. Even without the Sudbury birth of John explicitly giving parents "John and Martha" (cited above), one would suspect he was wrong based on the gap between births. Despite being clearly wrong, it is seen many places (e.g.,
