    'Johann [child of Johann Rempel] (b. 1778) Einlage 1802, 1803, 1806, 1808
    m. Kristina Neufeld (b. 1783)'
'The wife of Johann R. junior may have been a daughter of Peter Neufeld (.d before 1793) who was living with the Peter Teichgraf family in Neuenburg in 1795. Johann junior received the Einlage homestead of Isebrandt Rempel who may have been his uncle.'

In the Neuenburg section, Schapansky identifies the maid living with the Peter Teichgraf family as Kristina Löwen, daughter of Daniel Löwen. She is listed with Daniel Löwen's family in the 1801 census, but is missing from his family in the 1795 census, so this is likely correct.

  2. Johann Rempel received a homestead by 1803, and was certainly married by 1806, when the census lists his family as 1 male and 1 female.
