  3. Olive Hutchins is of Winchester, NH per the marriage record. Therefore several websites identify her as Olive, b. Winchester, NH, 23 Mar 1790, d/o John and Olive Hutchins. This would make Olive barely 14 when her first child was born, and only 13 at the time of the marriage. A Find A Grave memorial says she died in 1848, which agrees with the 1850 Census which shows Joel (line 9) living with no wife. However, this Find A Grave memorial, which has no picture of a gravestone, claims she was even younger, born in 1795, which is impossible given the date of marriage and birth of their son. The 1820 census shows that the oldest female in Joel Hasting's household was under 26, so born 1795 or after, agreeing with Find A Grave. In 1840 she is 50 to 60, born between 1790 and 1800. The youth of the person described by the 1820 census and Find A Grave page would suggests a second wife? In any event, the birth of a child in 1804 would suggests a little stronger case needs to be made that Olive has been correctly identified even as the first wife.
