↑ No research has been done to attempt to identify Permelia. It was noticed in passing that Amy (Slater) Stafford had a brother Moses Slater who died in 1836 and left a widow Permelia. Source:Slafter, Edmund Farwell. Memorial of John Slafter, p. 54, names Moses' wife as "Milly Fisher" but has no further information.
