Edson Family History and Genealogy : Descendants of Samuel Edson of Salem and Bridgewater, Mass, p. 69, says Hannah Allen's second husband was this Job's son, i.e., "Job Packard, born 1749, son of Job and Rachel Packard". Given Hannah's birth in 1730, this seems unlikely for reasons of age difference. Also given the death of the father Job Packard's wife Kezia in 1789, it makes sense that he would remarry in 1790.
