  3. Note: Source:Churchill, Gardner Asaph. Churchill Family in America, p. 1:57 says he "Married, in Newburyport, Oct. 5, 1770, Abigail Worcester". This is at odds with the recorded intentions which are 2 months later, and which say they are both of Plimouth. Furthermore, no such recorded marriage is found in the published records of Newburyport or other places searched. On the other hand, the record found in Hollis is over a year after intentions, which strongly suggests one or the other was misrecorded. Given that their first child is born in Nov 1772, the marriage date could be correct.
