Recently, I noticed your listing of Leondus (Lee) Nix, b. abt 1874, Blount Co., Ala., on Rootsweb�s World Connect. I think I may have some information to help you on this person. �If he is the same man, Lee Nix died Apr. 1937, DeKalb Co., Ala. He md. Artie (Arty) Jones, and she died Jan 1931, DeKalb Co., Ala. Three of their daughters, Bessie, Ella and Camie Odessa, married Roden men. Ella and Odessa�s husbands were brothers and Beulah was a first cousin to them. �I have more on these three daughters if it of any interest. All three have living children.

1.Myrtle Lois Roden, b. 10 Aug 1920, DeKalb Co., Ala., d. 13 Sep. 1920, DeKalb Co., Ala., buried Roden Cem., Sand Valley, DeKalb Co., Ala.

2.Amon Odell Roden, b. 15 Feb 1922, DeKalb Co., Ala., d. 10 June 1997, bur. Belchers Chapel Cem. He md. 6 Oct 1940, Oneida May McPherson, b. 25 May 1924, d. 6 Apr. 2000, bur. Belchers Chapel Cem., the dau of Bascum Earl McPherson and Myrtle Rendy Elzo Bouldin. Two children:

a.Jolene Roden b .27 Feb 1943. She md .20 sep 1959, James Underwood. Two children: Charles Jeffrey Underwood, b. 30 July 1960, and James Richard Underwood, b. 11 Nov 1961.

b.Charles Douglas Roden, b. 5 Apr 1950.

3. Ollie Lee Roden, b. 24 Mar 1925, DeKalb Co., Ala. A female. Neve rmarried. Lives in Boaz, I believe. She had one child: Roger Dale Roden, b. 18 Mar 1943, d. 28 June 1943, buried Belchers Chapel Cem.

4. Jessie Eber Roden, b. 31 Oct 1929, DeKalb Co., Ala., d. 25 Sep. 2001. He md. June Peppers. One child.

5. Florence Eulene Roden, b. 19 Apr 1932, DeKalb Co., Ala. She md. (1) Joel Eugene White, b.11 June 1928, d. 20 Aug 1955,bur. Belchers� Chapel Cem. Two children. She md. (2) Willie Edward Kilgore. No children. a. Ronnie Joe White, b. and d. 23 July 1949, bur. Belchers Chapel Cem. b. Donna Jo White.

6.Billy Lee Roden, b. 12 Oct 1938, DeKalb Co., Ala., d. 31 Jan 1991,bur. Belchers Chapel Cem. I am uncertain as to whether o rnothe married.

7.Donald Wayne Roden, b. 30 June 1946, DeKalb Co., Ala., d. 19May 1947, DeKalb Co., Ala., bur. Belchers Chapel Cem.
