Jeremiah Gager was the administrator of the estate of Daniel Walker in 1795 and after submitting his account, was ordered to keep the balance as "Husband of Ruth Gager the only child & Heir of the said Deceased".
[Incidentally, notice that Source:Holmes, Clay Wood. Genealogy of the Lineal Descendants of William Wood Who Settled in Concord, Massachusetts in 1638, p. 20, says the father died in 1757 when Westminster VRs, p. 250, clearly label that death as the s/o Daniel and Hannah, and it gives the death in 1795 to the son Daniel when the probate file clearly shows it was Ruth's father, not her brother.]
