Source:Weis, Frederick Lewis. Early Generations of the Family of Robert Harrington of Watertown, Massachusetts, 1634, and Some of His Descendants, p. 58, names the wife as "Esther Rand", but the Orange records seems to clearly say "Esther Read". They add "Miss" so it is presumed she had not been previously married? Neither Weis nor Harrington identify her parents or prior history.
