This site shows that Nannie Williamson was the daughter of James Williamson and Samantha Dawson (Joseph(5), Alden(4), Richard(3), Alden(2), Hugh(1) Williamson) All descendants of Hugh Williamson moving here in the 1720s from Wales.

But some of the information is off.

Children of James Williamson and Samantha Dawson are:

 	2482 	ii. 	  	Lewis Williamson. He married Rachel Herald.
 	2483 	iii. 	  	Nannie Williamson. She married Byrd Marcum.
 	2484 	iv. 	  	Emma Williamson.
 	2485 	v. 	  	Betty Williamson.
 	2486 	vi. 	  	Polly Williamson.
 	2487 	vii. 	  	Oma Williamson.

Some of the names from this site match up, such as Lewis and Emma, but many do not. There is no Nancy listed, unless her name was Nannie - but the date of birth listed here (1887) seems to be too early to be the mother of my grandmother (Virginia Lee).

I found a 1910 census that shows Nannie was 11 years old, putting her birth around 1899. Then I saw a birth certificate for Virginia Lee, born 1922 - with mother being 23 years old at the time - again putting her birth around 1899.

Records are off somewhere. Is Nancy a sibling of James Williamson? A Nancy is listed on the site under siblings as well as children, yet the date of birth is the same year.
