  2. Source:Bemis, Charles A. History of the Town of Marlborough, Cheshire County, N.H, p. 557, identifies Martha Collins as sister of an early settler Joseph Collins. On p. 444, it says Joseph Collins was born "probably" in Southborough 9 Jun 1726, but no birth record near that date can be found anywhere. So her origins have not been found. It is said she d. 1809, but the basis for that is likewise still undiscovered, meaning no age at death is known.
Meanwhile, the family periodical Source:Penna-Oakes, Shirley Elizabeth. Lewis Unlimited says Martha Collins was b. Lynn 23 Jul 1731. This would make her the daughter of Jonathan and Rebecca Collins of Lynn, but Jonathan's will names daughter Martha Curtain and Lynn VRs do show Martha Collins marrying John Curtain. So this is clearly wrong.
