Hampshire Box 65, file 41: Will of "James Hill of Pelham", dated 17 Jul 1787, proved 16 Aug 1787, names wife Mary; sons Robert, John and Phenehas; daughters Rebecca and Lydia. Source:Parmenter, C.O. History of Pelham, Mass., from 1738 to 1898 mentions a Revolutionary volunteer named James Hill from Pelham, age late 40s, so born say 1722 or so. But births of his children have not been found, nor whether he was married before Mary.
