    Margaret Manson Farquhar married James Carey Green (who was born in Providence, R.I., June 4th, 1772), on the 16th of March, 1797.

    They were married by the Rev. Thomas Frost, rector of St. Philip's Church, who had also previously married her sister Mary to Alexander Jones.
