This post apparently gives the data from a Bible of James W Edgerly. This was apparently also published in Issue #35 of [books.google.com/books?id=YsIwAAAAMAAJ&pg=PA142&dq=Edgerly Barrett Branches] (Aug 1994). The data there says the husband died about 7 months after the marriage, the only child was born posthumously, married and had a family. The death record of the wife shows she never remarried.
