- ↑ There is a death record in Boston for the death of a child of James Barbor in 11 Sep 1712 (see the father's probate, he being James of Dorcester, and his son being James of Boston in 1724 when his father was sick, but James of Roxbury in the 1730's). This is probably too late to belong to the father, so probably belongs to this James, but that is pretty much pure conjecture. Based on his birth in 1687, he would be of legal age to marry in 1708. He clearly was married to Elizabeth in 1729 as they executed a deed selling some of the real estate of Elizabeth's father. Beyond that nothing is known for sure.
