I am looking for information on ancestors of Susanna Hire b. 11-27-1778. She married Jacob Stookey on 4-3-1808 in Ross county Ohio.I think her parents might be Michael Hire and Elizabeth Stingley Hire but have no further information.Thanks for any help you can give.JeanP.S. Information that I do have is that Jacob Stookey was born in Virginia and the Stookey family along with the Hires and other Virginia residents moved via flat boats to Ross County Ohio.
