  1. Elizabeth is named Elizabeth Stanley in father's will of 1729. The birth of Rebecca, d/o Jacob Stanley and first wife Miriam Hewlett, is recorded in both Topsfield and Attleboro in 1716 and his wife Miriam died that year. Source:Hurd, D. Hamilton. History of Bristol County, Massachusetts, p. 545 and p. 572, says Jacob came to Attleboro about 1717 and married Elizabeth Guild. The births of Abigail, Benjamin, two Deborahs, Elizabeth, Jacob, Jonathan and Solomon are recorded in Attleboro to Jacob and Elizabeth with missing years. The settlement of Jacob's estate in 1750 (Bristol Probate 24386 mentions Jacob eldest son, Benjamin second son, Jonathan and Solomon; the two surviving daughters from Topsfield: Rebecah Daggett wife of Elihu Daggett, Miriem Wight wife of Joseph wife; and daughters from Attleboro: Deborah Standly, Elizebeth Standly, Abigail Standly. Administration on Jacob's estate was granted to his widow Elizabeth 1 Sep 1747, and her dower was set off 23 Dec 1749.
