History of St. Clements Parish Church:

St Clements,the Pilgrims church stands near the shore of the River Thames. Between the modern factories in West Thurrock, Essex. In medievil times it provided shelter and atempory rest for the Canterbury Pilgrims about to cross the river. Here they could pray for a safe crossing.

Also it is immortilized in the film 4 Weddings and a Funeral, it was the Church that Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts used.
