Noting that there is another marriage, of Jacob Barrett of Reading to Rebecca Pierce of Wilmington 21 Oct 1740, and that all known children of Jacob and Rebecca are after this data, this source says "there are either two Jacob Barrets or his first wife, Rebecca Bryant, died before 21 Oct 1740, probably without children." Noting that William Bryant does not mention a daughter Rebecca or children of daughter Rebecca, it seems to suggest without saying so, that it believes both marriages are the same Jacob Barret.
