- According to Woburn Records, Israel married 1717 Hannah Wyman, The first of many children to Israel and Hannah is born in 1718. Compare this to Source:Reed, Jacob Whittemore. History of the Reed Family in Europe and America, p. 66: Israel, b. 17 Mar 1687, m. 1 Jun 1707 Hannah Johnson. No such 1707 marriage is found, nor any other marriage to Israel Reed or Hannah Johnson be found that can be construed to match this statement. In Reed, p. 67, what appears to be the same Israel is now born 20 years earlier, 17 Mar 1667, and now married 1 Jun 1717 to Hannah Wyman. Sigh!
